Welcome to the Cibola High School Library! Our library has an on-line catalog allowing students to access the Cibola, Kofa, and Yuma High School library holdings. Full-text periodical databases are also available to aid students in their research. Students can search our catalog and databases on any computer with internet access by visiting Merlin the YUHSD On-Line Catalog. Students may also check their account for overdue books/fines and due dates. Stop by the library to pick up a bookmark with user names and passwords for access to the system from home.

Our on-campus collection also includes books, reference books, magazines, newspapers, the career collection, the Spanish collection and Accelerated Reader books and quizzes.

The CHS library provides varied services to help students meet their academic needs such as computer access, copies, CD burners, and interlibrary loan. We monitor computer use to insure appropriate school related usage. We have posted the rules in the library and at each computer. 

Students must sign in before school, after school and at both lunches. During the school day, each student must have a pass from his/her teacher and sign in. Occasionally, we may close the library for various reasons and will post a sign on the front doors to inform students.

Books

• Students may check out a total of three books at a time.
• Students may check out each book for two weeks and may renew each book.
• Students must present their current student ID to check out books.
• We will not allow checkout and/or renewal if a student has overdue books or fines.

Fees

• $.10 per day for each overdue book (no fee for weekends or holidays)
• $.10 per page black & white (print and photocopies)
• $.25 per page for color (print)
• $.50 per blank CD

Library hours are Monday 9:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
